Unlike many centers that only focus on preschool years, we are licensed to welcome children from birth (0 months) up to 12 years of age. Our programs are specifically designed to support the developmental milestones of infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children.
Yes. Light Childcare Centre is a fully licensed childcare facility in Chilliwack. This means we meet and exceed all provincial health, safety, and staffing requirements set by the BC Ministry of Education and Child Care.
As a newly opened center, we are currently accepting registrations! However, spaces in our Infant/Toddler and Preschool programs fill up quickly. We recommend filling out our inquiry form or calling us at 778-203-4400 to check current availability for your child’s age group.

Yes! As a licensed provider in British Columbia, we participate in the Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI), which automatically lowers fees for parents of children in eligible age groups. We also welcome families receiving the Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB).

Absolutely. We understand that starting daycare is a big transition. We work with each family to create a gradual entry plan that allows your child to stay for shorter periods initially, slowly building up to a full day as they become comfortable with our teachers and their new environment.
No, we do not require uniforms. We want children to be comfortable and ready for messy, creative play! We simply ask that children come dressed in weather-appropriate clothing and bring a spare change of clothes and indoor shoes.
